Responsible Tourist Code of Conduct:<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsible tourism is about \u201cmaking better places to live and being better people in each place you visit\u201d<\/p>\n

Value local traditions and customs:<\/span><\/p>\n

Respect and protect everything that makes a destination unique and different.
\nBefore traveling, ask about the local customs and traditions of the tourist destination you will visit (costumbrista festivals, ephemeris, anniversaries, among others), so you can share, participate and integrate with the community in the best way.<\/p>\n

Support the local economy:<\/span><\/p>\n

Consume local handicrafts and products made in the destination, this would allow you to contribute to the development of family, retail and small-scale economies.<\/p>\n

Respect the Environment:<\/span><\/p>\n

Buy products that do not require the use of endangered plants or animals for their preparation.
\nYou prefer group outings that allow savings of resources, money, fuel and a decrease in your carbon footprint. Find the most efficient and least polluting way to get around.
\nRespect the signage and indications of existing communities in the area you visit. This will allow for a safer visit for you, your family and the environment.<\/p>\n

Be careful when visiting natural areas and archaeological sites:<\/span><\/p>\n

Try to return the garbage generated during your visit to these areas (including organic waste).
\nDo not commit environmental crimes. If you visit a natural area, remember that there is a regulation and that it was created to preserve places and species of great ecological value.
\nDon't remove natural resources, for example; plants, animals, stones, sand, corals, snails, sea shells or others, from their original environment.<\/p>\n

Be a respectful and informed traveler:<\/span><\/p>\n

Respect human rights and protect children from exploitation in any of its forms, especially sexual and labor exploitation.
\nFind out how you can receive medical assistance or contact your embassy (for foreign tourists) in an emergency.
\nFind out about the weather conditions when you access mountain ranges or variable hydrometeorological conditions. If you make tours on your own or in a group to the mountain, inform and leave a record of your visit.
\nGet information at the tourist information offices that have public or private official institutional support, in order to obtain objective, up-to-date information and tourist services and activities that comply with the legal provisions of the places you visit.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
